Physical exercise means the regular movement of the limbs of our body according to rules. It is necessary to keep our body fit and strong. The proverb goes, “Health is wealth.” Physical exercise helps us to build a good health. It helps in digesting food. It also keeps our mind sound. Because, sound mind lives in a sound body.

There are different kinds of physical exercise in the world. These are walking, swimming, riding, running, wrestling and playing many outdoor games etc. Not all forms of exercise are suitable for all men. Those who are strong and stout can take all kinds of exercise. Nevertheless, those who are weak cannot take all kinds of exercise. Walking is suitable for all.

The importance of physical exercise is much in our life. The importance of it cannot be described in words. It helps us in many ways. It is said that human body becomes inactive without taking regular physical exercise. It helps to build sound body. It helps us to keep away from diseases. We know that we cannot do any kind of works without sound mind. Physical exercise is the prerequisite of sound mind. We know that there is a close connection between body and mind. We cannot think of a sound mind without a sound health. In fact, physical exercise keeps our body sound that is the key to all success. There are some other benefits of physical exercise too. Those who take physical exercise regularly; they have to get up early in the morning. They can start their daily work earlier. They can use the time properly and success in life. Besides, in the morning, a man can enjoy the natural beauty. He can also take fresh morning air. The smiling nature of the morning touches a man’s mind that inspires him in all works.

Some people do not take physical exercise. They think that it is unnecessary and killing of time. But, they are wrong. Because, without physical exercise, our health breaks-down and we suffer from various kinds of diseases. Their body becomes inactive and weak. They cannot enjoy a healthy and meaningful life. They cannot enjoy a sound mind. They cannot succeed in life. In a word, they suffer in the long run due to rise late from bed.

We should bear in mind that excess of anything is not good. This sentence is absolutely right in case of physical exercise. Over exercise is also injurious to our health. If we take over exercise, we may become weak. So, everyone should abide by the rules of physical exercise so that taking physical exercise becomes meaningful and beneficial for our life.

However, it is true that health is wealth. Sound health depends on regular physical exercise. So, to lead healthy and happy life, physical exercise is must. It is a part and parcel of our daily life.
