Environmental Pollution or Pollution 200 Words Paragraph

Adding harmful substances to the environment is called pollution or environmental pollution. Environmental pollution occurs in different ways. Air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and soil pollution are among them. The three main elements of the environment are soil, air and water. These three main elements of the environment are being polluted in various ways. Plastics, factory wastes, excess chemical fertilizers etc. contaminate the soil. Air is polluted by various harmful gases, dust and smoke. Water is polluted by mixing industrial wastes, chemical fertilizers, pesticides, human settlement wastes etc. The effects of pollution on the environment are terrible. The use of pesticides contaminates the soil and water. Eating fruits and vegetables grown in contaminated soil can damage one's kidneys. Contaminated air can cause physical harm to children and pregnant women. Contaminated air can damage the eyes and respiratory system. It can even cause cancer and heart disease. 

The effects of water pollution are very long lasting. Industrial waste is very harmful to the human body. Consumption of this poisonous waters can lead to diseases like skin diseases, typhoid, jaundice or hepatitis. We have a lot to do to get rid of environmental pollution. We need to be aware of protecting our own environment without just blaming the government or the authorities. The law must be enforced. The government, the people, all the organizations must take a comprehensive action. Otherwise, we cannot protect ourselves from environmental pollution.
