A Terrible Fire Accident in Narayanganj
The deceased have been identified as Barkat Mia (25), Moslem Uddin (50) and Amena Khatun (35) in the accident. At least 10 of the injured have been admitted to hospital. The condition of three of them is critical.
The officer-in-charge of Rupganj Police Station said that we are trying to find the cause of the accident. We have already finished the rescue work.
Eyewitness Jannat Ara (30) said that she suddenly heard a loud noise. She then saw several injured people. The injured were shouting for help.
Maqbul Hossain (50), a day laborer, one of the injured people in the accident said, suddenly he heard people screaming. Then he fainted. When he regained consciousness, he was in a hospital bed.
Until the last news, a three-member committee began working overnight to investigate how the accident happened.
