Celebration of Bangabandhu's Birth Centenary at Dhaka College
The principal of the college presided over the ceremony. Renowned writer Muhammad Zafar Iqbal was the chief guest of the occasion. Poet Nirmalendu Goon was the special guest.
The chief guest said, Bangabandhu is not just a name, it is a history. The younger generation needs to know this history.
The special guest said, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the great hero of independence in 1971. Under his leadership, we got an independent country. We are proud to celebrate the birth centenary of the poet of politics.
The student parliament of the institution organized this event. Recitation of poems, debates, present speeches, story telling etc. were organized on the occasion.
Red, green and white—three teams participated in it. A total of 60 students took part in it. The red team won the competition. Prizes were distributed among the contestants at the end of the ceremony.
