Some inventions of science have changed our world. Internet is one of them. It is the main media of telecommunication system that has spread out all over the world. Receiving and sending information are the main function of internet. Internet is called the network of network. The process of joining two or more computers with wire, satellite and optical fiber is called internet. The main objectives of internet are to exchange messages, information data, and pictures and above all to communicate with other computer users. The users of internet are increasing day by day through all over the world. The real owner of internet is NSF of USA. There are two types of internet connection. They are known as on-line and off-line internet. During the early 1984, an organization named NSF of USA joined all super computers of the country for research. This network of NSF worked as the foundation of internet. The importance of internet beggars description.

Information can be exchanged all over the world through internet. As a result, internet is being used in the fields of education, economics, politics, recreation, medical and commerce etc. So, any information of education can easily be got through internet. Even, to collect any information from the books of best library is possible through internet. We can read any newspaper in internet. It is cheaper than any other media. For this, it is popular to all. Besides, it is very easy, quick and attractive. It may be called the greatest encyclopedia of the world because of its vast storage of data. Thus, the utilization and popularity of internet are increasing day by day. Despite of having a lot of merits, internet has some demerits too. The main negative sides of internet are serving false information, outwitting, showing naked picture, gambling, cheating, blackmailing etc. Some dishonest men harm numerous computers spreading virus. Many times information are being stealing away. In the long run, internet must be engaged in convenience of people. The benefits of internet have to be reached to the door of people. By improving internet, opportunity must be given us to go in harmony with the world.
