"We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back." ––Malala Yousafzai. We cannot move forward leaving half of the society behind. So there is no alternative to women's empowerment. Women's empowerment refers to women's freedom in decision making and implementation. There are different ways to empower women. For this, equality of men and women is important. Women should be given equal rights with men at all levels of society. Women need to be turned into educated and skilled human resources. The contribution of women in the economy needs to be properly evaluated. 

All oppression on women must be stopped. Women's rights law must properly be implemented. Only then the empowerment of women will be ensured. There are some great purposes for women's empowerment. Women make up half of our society. No development is possible leaving half of the society behind. Women have contribution in almost all the achievements of the world. Therefore, empowerment of women is given very much importance to accelerate the development efforts of a country. There are some limitations to women's empowerment. Its main limitations are superstition, unawareness, lack of education, traditional ideas, erosion of social values, bigotry, lack of good governance etc. In the long run, it is true that there are many obstacles to women's empowerment. But we must overcome all obstacles. Only then can we move forward fully.
