Tea is a type of warm drink that is usually fragrant and flavorful. Tea is prepared by boiling tea leaves in water. Tea leaves are obtained from tea trees. Tea is a very tasty drink. The origin of tea is China. The Chinese first started using tea and later it spread all over the world. At present, the tea of ​​India and Sri Lanka is world famous. Some tea is produced in Rangamati, Khagrachhari, Chittagong and Brahmanbaria districts of our country. Apart from that, tea is also produced in North Bengal. There are a total of 167 tea gardens in Bangladesh. There are four basic types of tea. They are black, white, green and oolong tea. There are also two types of tea leaves––powdered tea and leaf tea.

There are some rules and regulations for tea cultivation. Tea is usually grown in rain-soaked hilly areas. Tea seedlings have to be planted at a very orderly distance. Tea trees can grow up to eight to ten feet high. However, the trees are not allowed to grow so much. If it is a little more than three or four feet, the tea tree has to be pruned. The base of the tea tree and the surrounding area have to be kept very clean. There are specific methods of collecting tea. The soft green leaves of the tea are torn off. Then they are dried in various scientific processes to make different types of tea. To make tea, you have to boil water well in a pot. Pour enough tea leaves in boiling water and boil for five minutes. Then strain it through a sieve and pour it into a cup of tea. After that tea is prepared by mixing sugar, milk or ginger. Tea is a beneficial drink. Tea refreshes the mind. Drinking tea eliminates laziness and inertia of the body. Colds, coughs and sore throats can be relieved by drinking tea. In our country, there is no pair of tea to entertain the guests.

Tea is a very healthy drink. It also contributes a lot to the economy. At present, tea is popular all over our country. Without it we cannot imagine a single day.
