A Railway Station Paragraph for SSC HSC

A railway station is a place where trains stop regularly to load or unload passengers, freight or both. It generally consists of a station building, a ticket collection room and a waiting room. Stations generally are at ground level. The everyday scenario of a railway station is truly varied. The station is busy nearly 24 hours a day. There are many shops and food hotels near the station. Passengers buy various things from there and take them home. Some low-income people are always on the move at the station. They make their living in the center of the station. Some of them make a living by selling tea, biscuits, fruits and bread. 

Many of them sleep at the station at night. When the train arrives, everyone gets busy. Some of the passengers are busy getting off the train and some are busy getting on the train. As soon as the train arrives, the poor children at the station start collecting water bottles. Trains usually do not stop at the station for long. The train does not delay a single moment after the specified time. The whistle is blown to warn the passengers before the departure. After leaving the train, some people run and get on the train which is very risky. In the long run, the railway station is really a strange place. People from different walks of life gather here. This place is sometimes silent and sometimes crowded. One of my favorite places is this railway station.
