Campaign on COVID-19 Awareness Held
Jahid Hasan, Staff Reporter, 25 February 2022: A campaign on Covid-19 Awareness was held infront of Aswini Kumar Town Hall in Barishal City yesterday. A colorful procession and cultural programme were organized on the occasion. People of different classes and professions took part in it.
Mayor of Barishal City Corporation presided over the ceremony. Monjurul Haque, teacher of Dhaka University, was the chief guest of the ceremony. Professor Somnath Chandra Mondal of Govt. Barishal College was the special guest.
The president guest said, “The purpose of today's campaign is very significant. We all have to work together.”
The chief guest said, “This campaign needs to be spread among more people. I hope that the media will play an effective role in this regard.”
Barishal Youth Association organized this event. Stage drama, recitation of poems, debates and present speeches were organized on the occasion.
