My Visit to a Book Fair Paragraph for SSC HSC

Last week I visited The Ekushe Boi Mela. It is the largest book fair in the country. It was held on the Bangla Academy premises on the occasion of 21st February. The fair was very attractive and various types of books were displayed there. Though many book fairs are held in different places every year, The Ekushe Boi Mela is the main book fair in the country. A book fair generally lasts for a week, two weeks even a month but The Ekushe Boi Mela is generally lasted one month. 

Hundreds of publishers participated in the fair. Books of drama, fiction, story, novel etc. were sold there. The stalls were decorated beautifully. A large number of children, male and female customers gathered in the fair. As the book fair becomes crowded in the evening, therefore, I went there at 3 p.m. I could buy my choicely books in cheaper rate from the book fair. I bought three books from the fair. However, a book fair is a source of knowledge and pleasure. It broadens our mind. It is a part and parcel of our national life.
