The students have responsibilities and duties to solve the problems of the society, country and nation. The student community can play a very important role in overcoming these problems. The most significant aspect of a student's character is his/her patriotism. The spirit of patriotism inspires the students to accept all kinds of sacrifices for the society. The role of the students of this country in the freedom struggle and language movement is the history even today. The students have responsibility to eradicate illiteracy. One of the main problems of the country is illiteracy. The role of the student community is most effective in liberating the nation from this curse. Educated student community can spread the light of education among their family members, neighbors and even the illiterate in their respective areas. The students also have duty to control the population. Most of the people in the country are unaware of population control. The student community can motivate the people the most in this regard. As a result, the country can be completely free from the curse of overpopulation. The students also have a great responsibility to prevent corruption and drug addiction from the society. 

Today's students are a part of tomorrow's state management. If the students are vocal against corruption and drugs and practice honesty among themselves, then in the near future Bangladesh can be a corruption and drug free country. The student society has also responsibility to reduce unemployment. Unemployment is a big problem in our country. The students can help to innovate ways of employment. The student community also has important responsibilities in the fields of agriculture, culture, medical services, social discipline etc. In the long run, it can be hoped that the student community can make the highest contribution in building their motherland. The students should be vigilant for the welfare of the country. The students have to overcome all obstacles and move forward for the welfare of the country.
