We know that Bangladesh is a small and beautiful country. It is quietly unique and different in the side of culture, social values, people’s occupation etc. All things seemed to me quietly different. I was very surprised to visit Bangladesh. The eating habit and occupation was unique of Bangladesh. I eat fresh Hilsha that was delicious. With some of my friends and guides I went to the rural areas of Bangladesh. I went a village that is 300 kilometers from the capital city of Bangladesh. The village was near the Barisal town. The name of the village is Patuakhali village. It is circled by the river. We went there by steamer. A journey by steamer is not less thrilling. The steamer was going through the river. I enjoyed the beauty of both sides of the river. The scenes of night in the river were also memorable. However, after reaching the village, we went to see the lifestyle of village people. I was amazed to the lifestyle of the people. People are engaged there in different occupations. The people are not rich but they are very amicable and honest. The live from hand to mouth but they are not unhappy. Most of the village people earn their livelihood from catching fish in the river, working as a day labor, cultivating paddy etc. I was amazed to see their beautiful and varied lifestyle. I saw the village people going their very close that is a new experience in my life.
However, visiting Bangladesh is really one of the memorable journeys in my life. I never forgot the memorable experience that I gathered from going abroad like a beautiful reverie country like Bangladesh.
