A Winter Morning Paragraph in 250 Words | SSC | HSC | Class-6/7/8/9/11/12

Paul Theroux says, "Winter morning is a time of recovery and preparation." Winter morning is a little different and a little more varied than other mornings. Winter morning comes with a blanket of fog. It decorates nature in a different way. The leaves fall off during the winter. The sun is not visible due to dense fog. As far as the eye can see only the foggy dark nature. Gradually, the sun began to shine through the fog. The icy air begins to blow slowly. Dew falls from the trees. When the sun shines on the dewy grass or tin roof, it looks like pearls are glistening. No one wants to leave the house until the sun rises completely. But people have to leave the coating finally to join the work. People light fires in different places. This scene is often seen in villages and towns. When the heat of the sun spreads, the fog disappears.
Gradually the day grows longer and the busyness begins. Winter morning in the village are truly variegated. Farmers take down the pot of date juice from the date palm. The farmer's wife burns them at home. The sweet smell of date juice spreads all around. Little boys and girls eat molasses and parched rice sitting in the sweet sun. The brides of the village make various pitha-puli in winter. The same joy is every house in the village. Winter morning brings happiness as well as sorrow. In severe winters, poor people in rural and urban areas suffer immensely. Most of them do not have winter clothes. In severe winter, they suffer terribly. Winter mornings do not bring them any good news. Nevertheless, this winter morning is a symbol of the unique natural beauty of Bengal with its combination of faults and virtues.

Traffic Jam Paragraph in 250 Words | SSC | HSC | Class-6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12

Recently I have got stuck in a long traffic jam on the way to examination hall. It is really a terrible problem. Traffic jam has also numerous negative impacts to our rising economy. Statistics shows that the economic loss due to traffic jam is about one lakh crore taka per year. According to the Accident Research Institute of BUET, traffic jam in Dhaka eats up around 5 million working hours every day and the average speed of vehicles during rush hours has come down to 5 kilometres per hour from 21 kilometres per hour. A World Bank analysis says that congestion of vehicles in Dhaka eats up 3.2 million work hours per day. It is thought that severe mismanagement in the transport sector is one of the main reasons to become Dhaka the worst city in the country in terms of road accidents. Parking on streets, construction work, waste bins, occupied footpaths, competition of buses for passengers, and picking and dropping of passengers anywhere on the road as reasons behind traffic jams. Ninety percent traffic jam can be avoided by taking proper measures involving road, transport and drivers. A separate lane for mass transports, ambulances and vehicles of firefighters should have to minimize traffic jam.
At present new vehicles are being added but the condition and number of the roads is still the same as before. We have to control the passenger movement in the bus everywhere. The problem of unscrupulous public transport has to be solved. Researchers say that the public transport sector should be run directly by the government and it should give subsidies for the development of the sector. The government should also give more emphasis on metro rail services. The pedestrians, passengers, drivers and low enforcing authorities must be more conscious about the traffic rules and regulations.

Causes of Road Accidents in Bangladesh Paragraph | Composition | SSC | HSC | Class-6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12

On the last vacation I was going to Rajshahi by bus. Unfortunately, my bus met an accident but luckily there was no casualty of death. We all know that the number of road accidents is increasing in an alarming rate. Every day we have to know the news of road accidents. Road accident brings sufferings and sorrows for the people.
Though the more or less street accidents are occurred almost every country of the world, the position of Bangladesh is second amongst all the countries. The statistics has shown that 40% road accident in Bangladesh is occurred in highway, 27% in city areas’ road and 33% in village area’s road. Another research run by Nirapad Sarak Chai has shown that the yearly average number of road accidents and deaths is 4000 and 5000 in Bangladesh respectively. A recent research has found that the most common reasons for road accident in Bangladesh are unplanned road design, the increasing number of people and vehicles, using road as temporary market, driving vehicles violating rules, the unconsciousness of the drivers and passersby, weakness of act, slackness of playing rules of the traffic police etc. Different kinds of vehicles of different speed like rickshaws, buses, trucks, private cars, motorcycle etc. are run on the same road that also causes road accidents. However, continued awareness campaign on media, incorporation the issue of road safety in text books, training drivers, building separate roads along highways for slow-moving vehicles, keeping the footpaths useable and correcting the faults in road designs can minimize road accidents largely in Bangladesh.

How to Fight Against Dengue and Face it | 'Dengue Fever Paragraph | SSC | HSC | Class-6, 7, 8, 9

Dengue is a viral fever that is spread by the Aedes mosquito. These mosquitoes usually bite before dawn and dusk. General treatment cures dengue fever, but dengue shock syndrome and hemorrhagic dengue fever can be fatal. Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated during the monsoon season. Dengue fever can be prevented by preventing the growth of Aedes mosquitoes. We have something to do to fight dengue. In and around the house—flower tubs, plastic containers, discarded tires, plastic drums, earthenware pots, buckets, tin cans, coconut shells, containers, pots, battery shells, etc. should be removed every three days. Unused water containers should be destroyed or inverted so that water does not freeze. It must be ensured to use a mosquito net when sleeping during the day or at night. If we have dengue fever, we must follow the doctor's advice. In dengue fever, we should not be panicked. We have to face it firmly.

(a) What is water pollution?

(b) Why is water called life?

(c) How is water polluted?

(d) What are the effects of water pollution?

(e) What measures should we take to prevent water pollution?

Answer:

Water Pollution

Water pollution refers to the process of making water unsuitable for human consumption as a result of mixing contaminated waste materials in water. Water is called a life-giving liquid because without water there would be no life on earth. Just like the other living organisms, we also need to consume water to survive. We also need water for many other activities such as cleaning, washing, cooking and irrigation. But water is getting polluted day by day in different ways. Men pollute water by throwing waste into it. Farmers use chemicals and that get mixed with water in rivers, canals and ponds. Mills and factories pollute water by throwing poisonous chemicals and waste products into rivers and canals. Water vehicles pollute the water of river by dumping oil, food waste and human waste. Unsanitary latrines and unsafe drains standing on the banks of river and canal are also responsible for water pollution. There are many bad effects of water pollution. Polluted water is very harmful for health. By drinking impure water, many people often suffer from many water borne diseases. Polluted water also destroys fish and plants. Therefore, proper measures should be taken to prevent water pollution. Disposal of human and industrial wastes in pond and river water should be avoided. The use of pesticides in agriculture should be reduced. During floods, people and domestic animals should be careful not to mix their excrement in the water.

Road Accident That I Witnessed Paragraph in 200 Words

Only two days ago I wrote a letter to you. Yet, I can't but write another today describing a horrible accident that took place, in the Gole Chokkor this morning. I was on my way from Mirpur-11 to Monipur High School at Mirpur-2. As my rickshaw neared the Gole Chokkor, I was startled hearing a bang. I (and many people around) looked. But what a terrible sight! Instantly I closed my eyes for a moment and could think of nothing. Sitting on as before. I again looked at the spot from where the sound came. I saw that a mother with her baby was run over by a truck that fled away in the twinkling of an eye. The street was flooded with blood. All other vehicles came to a halt and people and the police gathered round the spot. The victims died at the spot. Their heads were mashed. Afterwards, I learnt that the mother was a beggar. She wanted to cross the road with her child on the lap when the cruel mechanical titan ran over them. Now the day has passed away, but I can't forget the loss of the two invaluable lives.

The Happiest Day in My Life Paragraph-100% easy!

I distinctly remember the day. My joy then knew no bounds. I was in my village home after the School Final Examination was over. I was in a happy mood of relaxation. Then suddenly my good eight-hours sleep wee broken by shouts of joy My mother and brothers and sisters were all calling out my name in various tones of endearment and ecstasy. I jumped up and rushed out of the room and found a telegram passing' from hand to hand with congratulations. It conveyed the happy message that I had passed the School Final Examination creditably. My joy then knew no bounds. The rest of the day passed off in dizzy raptures. Relations came to congratulate me; I went to pay my respects to elders, to earn the blessing of my village teachers. I was patted and pampered by the ladies of the house specially, with demands for treating all to sweets. I was at once reminded of those lines of Wordsworth—"Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive, but to be young was very heaven!" Suggestion came from elders that Pujas had to be offered to the village and household deities blessing, had to be received with due solemnity. And yet, as I recall that red-letter day, I ask myself if I should have been so happy But still the fact remains that was my first success. I was beside myself with happiness. Soon, however, I realized how my responsibility increased for carrying on further studies to build my career properly.
