The period from January 1, 2001 to December 31, 2100 is called the 21st Century. This century has started with various crises and possibilities. It is the century of, labor intelligence, tolerance and implementation of brotherhood. The change of the 21st century has touched Bangladesh as well. This century is the century of science and information technology. The 21st century is a century of revolution in agriculture, education and medicine. It is a century of knowledge, art, culture and world brotherhood. The ever new discoveries of science of this century have also moved Bangladesh. An immense potential has been created for Bangladesh. In the 21st century, there are various possibilities as well as various crisis. Sea level rise, freshwater crisis, housing and employment crisis, biodiversity crisis, rising commodity prices, etc. are some of the biggest challenges of this century. 

Bangladesh has a lot to do in the 21st century. Bangladesh needs to focus on women's empowerment, use of solar energy, use of scientific instruments in agriculture, vocational education, prevention of population growth, etc. In the long run, the 21st century is a century of great potential for Bangladesh. Bangladesh has to move forward by tackling its problems. Only then will Bangladesh become a prosperous country to the world.
