There is a proverb that a person without an aim is like a ship without a rudder. So, everybody should have an aim in life. Some want to be doctor, some want to be engineer, some want to be actor. But my future plan of life is to become a doctor. There are some reasons for which I have adopted this plan. It is a noble profession. More than 80% of our people live in villages. They suffer from various diseases. But the hospitals and the doctors are very few in rural areas. There are a few quacks but they can not serve them properly. For all these reasons, I have decided to be a doctor to serve the village people. I am preparing myself for this profession. Now I am an HSC 2nd year student. I have taken preparation well in all the subjects. After passing the HSC with a brilliant result, I shall admit into a Medical College. After obtaining the MBBS degree, I shall go back to my native village and serve my village people. My parents always help me to reach my goal. They are very confident of my success. I am always inspired by them.

Blood donation is a humanitarian act. Nowadays people donate blood to save human lives. There are some persons who need to change the total blood of their bodies at regular interval. Blood is also necessary to be transfused in the body of the patients who undergo serious operations. Patients also need blood to make good the loss on account of accidents. ‘Sandhani’ an organization of the medical students has come forward with the noble motto of collecting blood and giving it to the serious patients. Some voluntary organizations are motivating people to donate blood. It does not cause any harm to the donor rather saves others' life. The loss is automatically compensated for in about a month. Utmost care should be taken to select the blood of the same group. The blood must be free from HIV or any other kind of harmful germs.

Basic human rights mean the rights that should be got by everyone from the country and countrymen fairly. Every person in this world has the right to get food, clothing, shelter, education and treatment. Those are regarded as basic human rights. In our country, some rights are being protected and some rights are being neglected. Our poor children are deprived of food and education. They have to earn money themselves for living. They do it by engaging themselves in many risky jobs. Our women folk are deprived of education. They have no right to make any decision or give any opinion about the important issues in the family. Sometimes they are tortured both physically and mentally. Our old people are deprived of proper care and treatment. People can come to know what the constitution says about their rights if they are conscious of their rights. If people know about their rights, they can enjoy, use and protect them properly and thus they can contribute to the development of the country.

The overall state of female education in Bangladesh is not yet satisfactory. In the past, women were in the boundary of their houses. They usually spent their time doing their household chores. They were deprived of education. But the situation has been changed now. Now-a-days, they are admitting into schools, colleges and universities. The rate of literacy in our country is about 60% whereas female literacy is about 40%. Female education is necessary for getting an educated nation. Because, an educated mother can give an educated nation. There are many advantages of female education. A child will never remain illiterate if his/her mother is educated. An educated woman can play various roles in the family. She can impart himself in different business and jobs. As a result, she can contribute to the family income. However, government should do something more to educate the female.

Mass education means to educate the people who cannot read and write. To eradicate illiteracy from the society is a main objective of mass education. It is also called all-pervading education. The rate of literacy in Bangladesh is not satisfactory at all. Most of the people cannot read and write well. This problem is more acute in rural areas in our country. Bangladesh is one of the poor countries of the world. Most of the people in our country live below the poverty level here. Illiteracy is the main reason for our poverty. Therefore, mass education is essential for our development. It is true that illiterate people are burden of a country. They do not know how to earn well and how to spend well. They are not aware of their rights and duties. Becoming uneducated of our farmers can not apply the scientific method in agricultural sector. Besides, they suffer from many fatal diseases due to lack of education. Social problems like population explosion, dowry, gender discrimination, superstition etc. always grasp them. Therefore, mass education programs should be undertaken by the government. Mass media like radio television and newspaper can play a vital role in this case.

Honesty is a noble virtue. An honest man always speaks the truth because he knows that honesty is the best policy. Honesty brings reward and praise for a man. There are many importances of honesty. It is the pillar of success. Everybody loves an honest man. On the other hand, a dishonest man is hated by all. Nobody believes him/her. As a result, he can not lead a peaceful life in the society. People always avoid him. He always speaks the false. As a result, nobody does not come to his assistance if he wants help in time of danger. He has no any social status and people never trust him. 
A dishonest man leads very miserable life. He never gives away poverty. Ever if he starves some days, people do not borrow him money. Because, they know that he never gives back the money. A dishonest man is never respected by the family members too. Therefore, we all should be honest to lead a peaceful and honorable life in the society.

Fishery, pisciculture, dairy, poultry raising, vegetable cultivation, flower cultivation are some of the scopes of self-employment. Our country is getting congenial to self-employment. Nowadays even educated young people are opening up forms. There are a good number of organizations that provide loans for self-employment. Our government may manage loan and training for our people. Our young generations may be awarded of the benefits of self-employment. Mass media can play a vital role in this regard.

Poverty means a situation in which man can not enjoy the basic needs of life. Most of the people of our country are very poor. They live below the poverty line. They lead very miserable life due to poverty. However, this poverty can be alleviated to some extent. Our lands should be cultivated scientifically. Scientific method and modern farming should be introduced. The high birth rate should be controlled. More employment opportunities should be created. Some other measures may be taken to remove poverty. These are animal husbandry, crop diversification, fisheries, poultry raising, horticulture, dairy farming etc. All these things will go a long way to alleviate poverty.
